Registration for the 2012 spring baseball season is now underway.  FYO Baseball, open to residents of Scotch Plains and Fanwood, is dedicated to providing quality baseball programs and instruction to children of pre-school age to 9th grade.  The league also takes pride in offering very reasonable and competitive registration fees.

Now entering our 51st year, FYO provides nearly 550 players and their families the opportunity to enjoy all aspects of youth baseball in a fun and supportive environment.  Highlights of the season include the Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit & Run skills competition that marks Opening Day, the annual league outing to see the Somerset Patriots, league playoffs and all-star games, and the year-end picnic at LaGrande Park.  The league also provides opportunities to play competitive spring and summer travel baseball.  Don’t miss what promises to be another rewarding and exciting season of baseball!

Baseball Bat Regulations - FYO supplies all teams and players with team equipment (baseballs, batting helmets, and catching equipment) and we do supply bats in Rookie Ball and T-Ball.  In the other divisions, many players choose to bring their own bats.  Please note that beginning in 2012, all player bats must meet approved regulations as set forth by Little League Baseball.  Regulations are in place to protect our players.  A complete list of approved bats is available here.  The list is from 2011, but is valid for the 2012 season.  Please note that just because a bat is stamped ‘Approved by Little League’ does not mean it is approved for use in FYO Baseball.  It must appear on the list.  The list is very comprehensive and covers a large number of bats.
